Our fundraiser of the month is a very special man, having raised a very considerable amount for our charity in memory of his grandaughter Emma who sadly passed away from leukaemia after five years of treatment.
Two of our wonderful trustees are fundraisers of the month! Sally Cowling and Ian Birtwistle are both huge supporters of the charity, both in giving their time as trustees and in fundraising too.
As a 9 year old, Jon was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was treated at Newcastle's RVI hospital for three years, and now as an adult he is committed to raising money to help fund research into childhood cancer.
Considering a short hairstyle for the Summer? Our fundraiser of the month, Zoe Pegg embraced the challenge last year by funding vital research with her sponsorship, and also donating her hair to The Little Princess Trust! A brilliant idea and really making the most of her fundraising event.
We are so impressed by the challenge that 9-year-old Grace Clewes has set herself. Not only is she working towards her Cub Scouts personal challenge badge, she has also decided to raise money for the NECCR in the process.
Andy Sanson from Gateshead is our fundraiser of the month, and also Santa's helper! He has raised a massive £18,000 over the years for NECCR, and one of his ways to fundraise is to tour the streets of Low Fell doing a Santa Claus collection.
