The Climb, our latest virtual challenge is almost here and some good news.....it's the ideal lockdown activity! You can take part on your own or with your household/support bubble. Taking part will keep you active, help to give you a positive focus and you will be making life better for children with cancer along the way.
It is with great regret that the NECCR have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Children’s Cancer Run for the 2nd time this year and move it back to our ‘normal time of year’ next year – to the 23rd May 2021.
Usually at this time of the year we are sharing all of the fantastic photos from Children’s Cancer Run day, sharing with you lovely memories of what is a very special day in the North East calendar of events. As you know, we have had to put everything on hold this year and, like so many areas of our lives, we cannot be certain about what the next few months hold.
This Sunday would have normally been the Children's Cancer Run, but due to COVID-19, we've had to postpone it. Instead, we'd love you to join us for a virtual fitness workout with award-winning fitness trainer and supporter of NECCR David Fairlamb.
NECCR is announcing the postponement of the Children’s Cancer Run which was due to take place on 17th May. This event has now been rescheduled to Sunday 20th September 2020.
Supporters of NECCR gathered together on World Cancer Day (4th February) in Newcastle to help launch the 2020 Children’s Cancer Run, making personal pledges of how they’ll take action against cancer.
