Every year thousands of people help the North of England Children’s Cancer Research Fund to raise substantial amounts to fund research.
Together we have raised £20 million and helped to establish the North of England as leaders in the research of childhood cancers.
Here are a few ways to get involved:
Children’s Cancer Run
The Children’s Cancer Run is a 5-mile, cross country, family fun run set up to raise money for the NECCR. Find out more and sign up for the run at: www.childrenscancerrun.co.uk
Fundraise
Over the past 30 years our supporters have always surprised us with the imaginative ways that they have raised money. You could challenge yourself with the Great North Run, have a cake stall at a community event or do a sponsored skydive.
Donate
Every penny helps, so even a small donation is a quick way to make a difference. To make a donation please send a cheque to : NECCR, Sir James Spence Institute of Child Health, Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4LP
If you have any questions about making a donation, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0191 2821322 or
NECCR Events
As well as the Children’s Cancer Run, we also organise a series of smaller events, from comedy nights to sponsored walks. Supporting these events is a great way to support world-class research in the North of England.
