Russell Croisdale, MD of Encore Envelopes said “Through our fundraising efforts between April and December 2016, we’re delighted we raised a total of £7,681.84 for North of England Children’s Cancer Research.
“We’re immensely proud of what our team produced in support of NECCR, as everyone mucked in and pulled out all the stops, either in generous donations or by participating in fundraising activities.
“Some members of the team took on personal challenges, such as the Yorkshire Warrior Extreme Obstacle Event, the Children’s Cancer Run and even a thrilling ride with a zipwire challenge from the top of the Baltic! Collectively, our daredevils managed to raise over £1500 between them.
“Of course, as much appreciation is owed to the team behind the scenes helping to organise football cards, sponsorship forms and collecting donations on the shop floor.
“These amazing results have inspired us to continue supporting NECCR through 2017 and based on our 2016 endeavours, we aim to raise a whopping £10,000 for the charity. We’ll be supporting NECCR-organised events and running our own fundraisers.”
Encore Envelopes, based in Washington, adopted NECCR in January 2016 and after a year of successful fundraising had raised over £7,000 to help fund childhood cancer research. The staff decided to support NECCR for a second year, aiming to raise even more money.
