£22.00 - would pay for a Chemo Duck

Chemo ducks offer comfort and reassurance to children going through treatment for cancer.

£50.00 - would pay for a pizza and movie night

It's not very nice being stuck as an inpatient. £50.00 pays for a film and social (ly distanced) night for teenage patients.

£70.00 - would pay for a professional animation session

These sessions, facilitated by Tom from AnimateCity, help patients bring their creative ideas to life!

£100.00 would pay for a research test

An example of this is a test that will allow researchers to understand why some children are resistant to certain leukaemia treatments.

£250.00 - would pay for gene screening

£250.00 will pay for a researcher to conduct a small scale gene screening to match a child to the right clinical trial. The relationship between Newcastle University and the Great North Children's Hospital means that early phase clinical trials that aren't able to take place elsewhere can do so in this region, giving more hope to the most difficult to treat patients.
