The Bupa Great North Run is the UK’s most popular half marathon, the run draws thousands of supporters, creating an electrifying atmosphere which leaves the participants buzzing.

The race start in Newcastle’s centre, passing over the iconic Tyne Bridge runners go through Gateshead past the famous International Stadium and onto the coastal town of South Shields finishing close to the sea front.

The North of England Children’s Cancer Research fund team for the Great North Run is now full, with 160 runners from across the UK running to raise money for our charity.
